荷蘭CytoBuoy公司是一家受歐盟資助、專業(yè)生產(chǎn)浮游植物流式細(xì)胞儀的公司。

傳統(tǒng)的流式細(xì)胞儀只能分析較小的細(xì)胞（< 15 mm），不適合分析體積較大的浮游生物細(xì)胞。從1986年開始，該公司就受荷蘭和歐盟資助，設(shè)計生產(chǎn)專為浮游生物分析設(shè)計的流式細(xì)胞儀——光學(xué)浮游生物分析儀（Optical Plankton Analyser，OPA）。

1996年，該公司提出了設(shè)計野外在線監(jiān)測型流式細(xì)胞儀的理念，并連續(xù)10年獲得歐盟資助。在此基礎(chǔ)上，該公司設(shè)計生產(chǎn)了全球第一臺便攜式浮游植物分析流式細(xì)胞儀——CytoSense，全球第一臺在線監(jiān)測型流式細(xì)胞儀——CytoBuoy，以及全球第一臺水下流式細(xì)胞儀——CytoSub。其中CytoSense的特殊版本CytoSense GV型，可以直接分析帶氣囊的微藻樣品（如微囊藻、棕囊藻等），省去了破碎氣囊的復(fù)雜步驟。

根據(jù)需要，CytoSense可升級為CytoBuoy或CytoSub。CytoBuoy可以無線傳輸數(shù)據(jù)，傳輸距離達(dá)16 Km。CytoSub可以在水下200 m處正常工作。

新增“指紋”功能可以建立浮游植物數(shù)據(jù)庫，利用流式細(xì)胞儀進(jìn)行浮游植物分類。
